Ensure that your host system is on the same Layer 2 network as the UDM-Pro. Launch the Chrome web browser and go to https://setup.ui.com. Follow the on-screen instructions of the Setup Wizard. After you run the UniFi Setup Wizard, a login screen will appear for the UniFi Network Controller management interface.

My setup is cable modem brand new (netgear cm1000) that’s plugged in by coax to the wall. Ethernet cable going form the LAN port in the modem to the internet port on dream machine. Everything’s plugged in. My internet service I’m paying for is 1 gig
Apr 04, 2019 · The Dream Machine can do 700 Mbps with both IPS and IDS turned on. The rumor mill is saying that we'll be getting new USGs (routers sans WIFI) to follow this up. If this pans out, you'll soon be able to buy a newer USG that supports high bandwidth IPS/IDS and then add on their separate wireless APs at your leisure.
Jan 12, 2015 · firstly the unifi discovery tool is a completely different tool that has nothing to do with the unifi controller. for the unifi discovery tool to work correctly you have to extract it from the zip file. if you run it from within the zip file it won't work. If the tool is working if will find your devices in a few minutes
Install the controller by opening the UniFi.pkg file and following the setup steps. If you receive a message that says "UniFi.pkg can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software" adjust your security settings. 3. Launch the UniFi Network Controller.
